Minutes of Meeting
December 22, 2008
Members Present: Tom Jameson, Chairman, Richard DeBold, Joanna McIntosh, Richard Moore, and Jamie Pike, Secretary.
Chairman Jameson opened the meeting at 6:45pm.
The purpose of this meeting was to discuss potential amendments to the Zoning Ordinance with regards to the Commercial Village, impact Fees, Workforce Housing, Signage, and Noise.
Mr. DeBold proposed amending the Commercial Village to include a larger area. The proposed area is approximately double the size. Also proposed was a special exceptions section to allow certain uses with permission from the ZBA. It was the consensus of the members present to put forward the amendments and a public hearing on the amendment is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14th at 7pm.
The Board discussed and reviewed the noise ordinance prepared by CLD Consulting Engineers. Also, a noise ordinance from another community was reviewed. Through discussions, a revised ordinance was drafted and the consensus of the Board was to put forward the new proposal and public hearing on the proposal is scheduled for Wednesday, January 14th at 7pm.
The meeting was adjourned at 9:15pm.
